Incredible as it may sound, there are days when, even here in Amorgos, you need a way out of the stress that you might feel for a while.
That’s when I like to drive my car across my favorite route.
I roll the windows down, turn the music up and loosen up on a short yet beneficial driving route in the southern part of the island, until its end at the beach of Kalotaritissa!
It’s amazing how many different things you can see in a 35-minute drive.
First of all, you drive along the big blue of Amorgos; you meet small villages, plains, farms, small cafes, people full of smiles.
Kamari, Vroutsi, Arkesini, Kolofana, Aghia Paraskevi, Shipwreck, Kalotaritissa.
Everything is different and everything is beautiful!
